A few local car guys went to the Car Wizard’s to pay respects to the flambe’d 355 before it gets re-homed. I brought my tripod and camera because of course I did.

I’ve come to really like the 996. I always thought it was the weak generation as far as looks go but I’m thinking it looks better than the 997 gen now. It’s aged gracefully.

I agree. I badly want Apollo 911 but sadly I can’t afford it. All the hard work has been done! Just needs a new LS slapped in there, probably with a dry sump system to prevent the oiling issue that killed it at the track. Shocker: engines don’t like being installed backwards so that the oil is pulled away from the pick up under acceleration.
